Grand Opening of Children’s Advocacy Center, Thailand (A.C.T.) in T. Suthep. Guests of honour included U.S. Consul General Michael Heath, Deputy Commissioner Wuthi Piltapallop, John Schachnosky Legal Attache F.B.I., Bryan McPherson H.S.I., Deputy Commander Songtham Allapach and Ben Robert Svasti. A.C.T. is the first of it’s kind in Thailand and in ASEAN. It is a pilot project in collaboration with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigation, National Crime Agency of England, Italian Police, French Police, and Switzerland Police, among others. Thai organizations represented include Royal Thai Police Region 5, Anti-Trafficking Division, Technology Crimes Suppression Division, Division of Special Investigation, Office of Immigration Region 5, FACE, Zoe International, SOLD Project, FOCUS/TRAFCORD, ECPAT Foundation, Destiny Rescue Foundation, HUG Project, Ban San Rak, the River of Life, NVADER, and International Justice Mission. The work focuses on supporting investigation and enforcement of the law in Thailand and overseas to see that justice is achieved. Additionally, victims are supported from the beginning of the legal process until the completion of the process for both criminal and civil law.
