TEDxGlobal Day 2018 at Jing Jai Market. TEDxChiang Mai is proud to be a part of TEDxGlobalDay 2018 taking place world wide in more than 250 locations.  The theme is “We the Future”. Our community project at Jing Jai Farmer’s Market is to focus on reducing the use of foam, plastic bags, straws and single use cups.  We are interviewing farmers, producers, buyers and sellers as we want to learn particularly from the elderly and also together, we encourage everyone to get back to using pintos, organic packing materials, natural straws and re-useable containers. We all want to be a part of a clean, green, organic, liveable Chiang Mai.  Our videos and postings will be shared with the worldwide TEDxGlobalDay teams so we can all learn from one another. Jing Jai Market has a Rustic Market will be held every Sunday at Jing Jai Market from 7am until 1pm. This market concentrates on handmade products. Every Saturday there will be the Hobby Market at Jing Jai Market dealing mainly with second hand goods from 7am until 2pm. Both markets will be complimented by the Farmers Market and the Organic Food Market held over the weekend. Jing Jai Market is located behind Tesco Lotus on the Superhighway
