The Opening of The Museum of Broken Relationships

The Museum of Broken Relationships celebrated the opening event of its second permanent location in Chiang Mai on November 7, 2024, with doors opening to the public on November 8, 2024.
Founded by artists Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić, the Museum of Broken Relationships is an internationally acclaimed institution with a mission to provide both virtual and physical spaces where people can connect through shared stories of love and loss. Located on Wichayanon Rd., the Chiang Mai branch is the result of a collaborative effort with several esteemed partners. These partnerships were instrumental in creating a space that is not only welcoming but also deeply resonant for both local and international visitors.
The museum displays objects donated by individuals worldwide, each representing a symbolic memento of a past relationship and accompanied by the donor’s anonymous story. Visitors interested in becoming part of the museum are welcome to donate items from past relationships, capturing the journey of love, loss, goodbyes, and memories. The Museum of Broken Relationships is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. General people 200 Baht Student / Elder (65+) 150 Baht.
