Joint Press Briefing by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB), Royal Thai Police Region 5 (RTP 5), Office of Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), and the Border Patrol Police (BPP). Patrick Picciano, Resident Agent in Charge from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s Chiang Mai office and representatives from Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB), Royal Thai Police Region 5 (RTP 5), Office of Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), and the Border Patrol Police (BPP) provided a briefing on U.S – Thai law enforcement cooperation, recent drug trafficking trends, successful enforcement efforts, and the importance of bilateral law enforcement cooperation to fight transnational crime. The press briefing took place at the Shangri La Hotel.
