Press Conference at Smile Hotel Chiang Mai to announce the Yunnan Cup Chiang Mai 2024.
The Chiang Mai Yunnan Association, together with Chiang Mai Municipality, organized a basketball competition to win a trophy and a cash prize of over 500,000 baht in the “Yunnan Cup Chiang Mai 2024” event. The Chiang Mai Yunnan Association, together with the Chiang Mai Municipality, will organize the “Yunnan Cup Chiang Mai 2024” basketball competition from October 7 to 13, 2024 at Gymnasium 3, Chiang Mai Municipality Stadium. This is to create and strengthen good relationships between the villages that are members of the association living in Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son and Tak provinces, including the general public in Chiang Mai province, so that they will get to know the Chiang Mai Yunnan Association better, and to encourage youth to play sports and use their free time productively. The basketball competition in the “Yunnan Cup Chiang Mai 2024” is divided into 5 categories: General Male Team (Village Team Only), Youth Male Under 15 Years Old, Youth Male Under 18 Years Old, General Male Team, and Senior Male Team 45 Years Old and Over. All participating teams are divided into the category of Male Citizens (Village), totaling 9 teams, 8 teams of boys under 15 years old, 16 teams of boys under 18 years old, and 1 team of people. 10 general men’s teams and 4 senior men’s teams aged 45 and over. Rules and decisions will use the competition rules currently set by the Basketball Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage or as determined by the competition organizer. The “Yunnan Cup Chiang Mai 2024” basketball competition has scheduled the opening ceremony on October 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and the closing ceremony on October 13, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Gymnasium 3, Sports Stadium.
