Come and join us on a very unique chiangmai city historic tour. We will meet at Wat Phra Singh gate at 9am. Then hop on to the sightseeing tram (Keaw Suay Hom) and learn about the history and meanings behind important Chiangmai landmarks (the gates, the conners, important temples etc). Then we will visit the amazing Chiangmai Silver temple (Wat Sri Suphan), followed by a workshop where we will make Thai flower offering bouquets.

Once we are back at Wat Phra Singh, I and my partner will give you a free tour of this very important temple. We will tell you the fascinating stories behind the over 150 years old wall painting of Wihan Laikum (the only building in Chiangmai with wall painting depicting everyday Lanna people).

We are local history enthusiasts so you will hear stories you won’t hear from the official guides 🙂

*Total cost: $250 bahts each (all for 3rd parties; tram, workshop & temple entrance)

*Total time: 3-3.5hrs.

*The tour includes:
2 hours Chiangmai sightseeing tram with professional English speaking guide and flower offering bouquets workshop – runs by Keaw Suay Hom, cost 200 Bahts each.

A visit to Wat Srisuphan (Silver temple), entry fee 50 Bahts each. Please note that women are not allowed inside the building due to Lanna beliefs but there is a website to show you the interior. Alternatively you can opt out to not visit this temple but you have to wait for the group.

**Meeting at Wat Phra singh Main Entrance (outside the gate) at 9am sharp. You will see a green tram parking there.
