Chiang Mai is set to make history as the host of the international para-cycling road race, the 2026 UCI Para Cycling Road World Cup—marking the first time this prestigious event takes place in Asia
The competition will be held from 17–22 March 2026 at
Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (Mae Rim Campus)
More than 400 athletes and officials from 44 countries worldwide are expected to participate.
This world-class event, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale, represents a major milestone in international para sports. It also highlights Chiang Mai’s potential on the global stage while boosting tourism, the local economy, and sports tourism.
