Thai Padel Series comes to town: a first for Northern Thailand

This weekend, Chiang Mai will mark a historic milestone in the growth of padel as the Thai Padel Series (TPS) arrives in Northern Thailand for the first time. The tournament represents a significant step forward in the development of the sport in the region and firmly positions Chiang Mai on Thailand’s national padel stage.

Athletes from across the country, including leading players from Bangkok, will travel north to compete alongside talented local competitors. The event promises high-level competition and an exciting showcase of Thailand’s emerging padel scene.

The tournament will be held at Padel Club Chiang Mai, the home of the city’s rapidly growing padel community.

Tournament Overview

All categories will feature consolation matches, ensuring continuous competition and ample playing opportunities throughout the weekend.

Group Stage Start Times

The official match schedule will be released prior to the event.

Male Pro – Saturday at 11:00 hrs

Male Amateur – Friday at 17:00 hrs

Mixed Open – Friday at 20:00 hrs

Female Open – Saturday at 09:00 hrs

Senior (40+) – Category subject to final confirmation

The highlight of the weekend will be the Male Pro Final on Sunday at 15:00 hrs, where the champions will be crowned in what is expected to be a showcase of top-tier Thai padel.

Live Coverage

Matches on Saturday will be broadcast via one live streaming camera.

Sunday finals will feature two live cameras along with a live scoreboard.

Community Event – Open to the Public

The Thai Padel Series in Chiang Mai is not only a competitive sporting event but also a celebration of the local community. Spectators are welcome throughout the weekend, with complimentary entry for all visitors.
