Fortunately, Chiang Mai has plenty of options for making a nest here.
If you are a new arrival renting is definitely the best option. There is no shortage of supply on rental options here whether you are looking for an apartment in the city, a family house or even a mansion surrounded by paddy fields. Buying property here should be approached with caution, especially by foreigners. We recommend you take legal advice and think carefully before buying property. That is not to say don’t do it.
