All of the most vibrant, fresh, colourful and delicious of summer produce will be featured at Palette Restaurant at 137 Pillars House this coming summer, so make sure you head on over for a summer feast to remember.
This menu has been designed to serve the freshest, most cooling, vibrant, colourful and delightful produce of the region over a six course menu over the coming hot months.
Start off with a lite fresh spring roll filled with wonderful ingredients and served with a zingy yuzu sauce.
Next, smoked chicken is served with quail’s eggs in a mild lemongrass soup, filled with lovely Thai coconut milk, sliced champignons and a hint of truffle oil.
Follow this soup with a pan-seared scallop served on a bed of sliced avocado, flavoured with perfect balance, before cleanse your palette with an aromatic rose sorbet which will leave you ready for the main course.
You can choose between a perfectly cooked duck confit which melts in the mouth along with the spicy Penang sauce topped with fresh tropical seasonal fruits, a premium grade sirloin steak saturated in red wine sauce and served with fresh vegetables, or a light and tender snow fish served with creamy lemon sauce and crispy fries.
End your summer feast with a passion fruit cheesecake, all tart, sweet and delicious.
This six course Chef’s tasting menu is 1,500++ per person including coffee and tea. Available from April through June.
