If you are a lover of meat; juicy, tender, succulent, perfectly cooked pretty pink meat, then you must head to Medium Rare, the mothership for steak and meat lovers.
Premium grain and grass fed meats, from ribeye to tenderloin, rump to T-bone, are kept in a special fridge…there to entice.
Dishes are served to your exact preferences, though of course, if you like, you should definitely order medium rare; after all it’s the chef and owner’s favourite.
Served with a lovely, if limited, selection of new and old world wines, you also are spoilt for other choices, should not everyone in your group like their meat, well, meaty!
There are delicious pastas, a cheesy quesadilla, some great light and bright salads and plenty of other dishes from which to choose.
Two of the menu highlights though, are the Brobdingnagian lamb shank – the massive meat simply falling away from the bone – and the duck confit, filled with flavour and with that crisp skin we all love.
The restaurant is reasonably priced, easily accessible, charmingly decorated, spacious with lots of seatings away from other tables, and frankly a great evening out with friends or family.
