Chiang Mai’s Wishbeer hosted its very first EDM night this past Friday, June 10th. DJ Wulf808 was in charge of tunes and filled the bar with fun EDM mixes while customers enjoyed the beer and ambiance. Although this isn’t his first gig since the pandemic, DJ Wulf808 is quite excited to see the city slowly return to normalcy over the past 3 months.

Wishbeer’s owner, Nith Boriboun, is originally from France but began her business about 1.5 years ago after losing her job to COVID. Her establishment hosts a few themed evenings every month. Saturday the 11th, for example, was the “Contest of the King and Queen of Wishbeer” where the bar elected their rulers for the evening.
