This delightful little recent find of ours in in Chiang Rai, and we can’t recommended it enough. The owner and chef were inspired by love of Mexican food and Chiang Rai itself to create this wonderfully expansive destination filled with trees, flowers, nature and even a cerulean blue pond!
Something Journey serves up all manner of fascinating bites and sips.
Their tacos are Chiang Rai style, using local potatoes to make the nachos, avocado and nam prik num chilli paste for the guacamole, nam prik ong chilli paste for salsa! Other inventive dishes include an intriguing fried sticky rice dish and the Hong Kong style clay pot rice.
This heirloom bakery is also well worth exploring with fresh, light and buttery croissants with surprisingly oozy fillings and a great selection of drinks, cold and hot.
A lovely spot!
