“I fell in love with coffee from a young age,” said Piyachat ‘Pi’ Trithaworn, owner of JJ Market’s newest coffee house, Gallery Drip Coffee, a spanking new Chiang Mai venue following over 12 years of success as Coffee Drip Gallery Bangkok.
“I spent much of my youth studying coffee, learning and tasting as much as I could. After a dozen years in Bangkok I thought it time to head closer to the source of Thailand’s coffee. So here I am, in JJ Market, close to the mountains on which some of my favourite coffees are grown.”
“I am also a great lover of photography and so our gallery coffee shop was is amalgamation of my two great passions.”
Coffee Drip Gallery is a bright, breezy, casual and stylish space where gleaming coffee making contraptions and clean-lined decor highlights Pi’s tastes…in his favourite brew as well as his distinctive decor and eye through the lens.
Beautifully crafted wooden furniture and serving containers highlight the slow drip of Pi’s tenderly crafted coffees and you can choose to while away hours in a quiet corner of this spacious venue, or pop in for an Insta.
