Love is in the air, and what better way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year than with the Valentine’s Set course from the Palette Restaurant at 137 Pillars House Hotel.
Bring your loved one to celebrate a day of love on 14th February 2024 with the indulgent 7-course menu meticulously crafted by talented Executive Chef Mam. The chef turns finest and freshest locally sourced produces into some of the delightful dishes designed to tantalise every palate.
The Valentine’s set course begins with an amuse bouche of spicy avocado with seared scallops. The spicy avocado lightly tosse in sweet and sour chili vinaigrette goes well with the sweetness of the scallops.
Then, warm up with the celeriac soup with hazelnut bread crumbs served steaming hot and aromatic, followed by the refreshing mixed greens and cherry tomatoes with mango salsa and honey balsamic dressing – all freshly picked from our surrounding hills.
Followed by the blowtorched tiger prawns and salmon, heart of baby cos lettuce, and semi-dried tomatoes as an appetiser which arrives aromatic with spices and tasty with sweet and sour flavours in a spicy chili vinaigrette.
The palate is then cleansed by rose and lychee sorbet, a sweet and sour offering to get you ready for the next course.
There are three highlights to choose from for the main course: duck confit, tender and juicy, served in Thai curry with mixed seasonal fruit, the grilled beef tenderloin with roasted vegetables, potato fries and wine jus, or marinated snowfish with roasted potato wedges, grilled vegetables, and lemon cream sauce.
End the meal with the strawberry cheese cake, a classic dessert served with mixed berries, macaron, crumbles and raspberry sauce.
Valentine’s Day set menu, available on February 14, 2024, for lunch (12 p.m. – 2 p.m.) and dinner (6 p.m. – 10 p.m.)
Priced at THB 3,500++ per couple, including two glasses of the ‘Romeo & Juliet’ cocktail.
