Wander through the lush tropical gardens, cooling down with every step taken, towards the spectacular hotel centerpiece—the 137 Pillars House itself, where cool rooms, plush sofas, and a smorgasbord of delightful flavours await.
The 137 Pillars House Afternoon Tea is available through April and May, serving up savoury and sweet treats to go with a finely curated menu of teas and coffees.
Bite into the crumbling scone with sultanas and whipped mascarpone cheese, all aromatic with its yummy butter, while slathering strawberries and lightly whipped cream before every mouthful. Next, nibbles on the light-as-a-cloud meringue served with fresh fruits and cream or dive into the satisfying moistness of the classic carrot cake.
You will also be served up a light and tasty strawberry cheesecake, some lemon passion fruit posset and enough chocolate Florentine to satisfy even the sweetest of teeth.
Too sweet? You can always balance it all out with some savoury salmon teriyaki, or a chicken tortilla wrap, some crunchy prawn kataifi with sweet chili dip, a choux pastry cheese puff, an umami mouthful of vol as vent filled with mushrooms, shallots and herbed goat cheese and of course the classic tea time accompaniment,. The cheddar cheese and cucumber sandwich.
