This small restaurant and butcher at the entrance of Nimmanhaemin Soi 2, is a MUST destination for all meat lovers.
This is Thai Harvest Farm’s first northern branch and while the city is seeing a great number of steak restaurants and shops opening up, this destination sets itself apart by serving meat produced by animals on their farms in Nakorn Panom and Sakon Nakorn provinces.
Grain fed with only organic feed and raised in a farm which ticks all the boxes for quality and welfare, just about every part of the animal is available to be purchased, whether to take home and cook yourself, to pick a piece of meat and ask them to cook it for you to take away, or to sit in the little restaurant and enjoy the best of Thai beef with some fine wines and cold beers.
We haven’t had the chance to try everything, but we did order a fantastic cut of strip loin which was cooked to medium rare perfection and had us crooning with every bite. We also tried the absolutely delightful Wagyu tartare, a Wagyu stroganoff and a succulent ossobucco.
They get super creative with their beef too so you can try the marbled and tender Wagyu served in all manner of cuisines from pad krapao Wagyu to a beef cheek red wine stew,; a Humburg Wagyu to sun-dried Wagyu and even Wagyu sausages and Wagyu sandwiches.
It is a Wagyu fiesta you don’t want to miss!
