The Carpenter Bar and Restaurant is a unique new destination offering two completely different bar experiences. On the ground level the trendy upscale New York vibe bar with piped 70s-80s music brings back nostalgia, while upstairs the bar transform into a breezy, seaside feel open wooden bar where the music amps up with EDM and percussion bands.
The food downstairs is also of another genre from its upstairs offerings, with Thai fusion dishes such as the golden bag (thung thong), prawns stirred with southern bitter vegetables and the spicy Carpenter special of pomelo with fried fish. They also have many signature cocktails which both taste and look good.
The upper beach deck, however, serves up grilled seafood, fried rice with seafood and the Thai favourite, Yawarat noodles, which is a fried chicken noodle dish with slithers of fresh and dried squid. And what better drink to sip by the beach than a tiki cocktail?
