All health lovers should make sure to visit this great source of everything organic on Wednesday or Saturday mornings. Local produce and pre-cooked food is on sale, and everything is guaranteed to be toxic free. Don’t forget your own bag!

This market is a small organic market situated in a school canteen. Fresh vegetables, locally cooked food and delicious Thai desserts are easily found every Wednesday afternoon. A great place for both children and families to explore the world of organic produce and great for all who pass by, as it is open to the public too.

Puttisopon School Organic Market
On Fridays, it is Puttisopon School’s turn to host their very own organic market. With a wide range of choices such as Thai food, local desserts and healthy snacks, trying to keep the school kids off sugar is easier than ever before. Parents, teachers, children and passersby snap up these delicious organic treats quickly, so get there early! Farmers at the market also are happy to talk on how to start your own organic garden, if you are so inclined.

Kaad Noi BA
Kaad Noi means ‘small market’ in the Northern dialect, and this is what the Business Agriculture Faculty has named their market, selling all kinds of seasonal produce right in the middle of Maejo University. Both students and farmers sell their wares, so it is a great place to visit if you wish to also support the local future farmers of Chiang Mai.

Nakornping Hospital Organic Market
Where better to get healthy food, than in a hospital. The Nakornping hospital hosts a large organic market in the Mae Rim district, bringing organic produce and food from all across the province. Clothes and other wares are also available, and the earlier you get there, the more there is on offer.

Chiang Mai City Hall Organic Market
Although small, Chiang Mai City Hall organic market is not to be forgotten, selling various kinds of organic products every day. Look out for it in the early afternoon, next to the provincial office. All vendors wear unique blue shirts, so spotting them is not difficult. Vegetables, fruits, rice, eggs and all kinds of foods are on sale here, mostly from farms in the Mae Taeng district.
