Syn Boutique Hotel is yet another exciting addition to Chiang Mai’s dynamic multinational and multicultural city. This modern boutique hotel welcomes like a long tall drink on a hot day; its South Florida vibe of minimal decorative fuss, creative touches and indulgence in a wink and some fun, makes this a unique destination in our already very unique city.

Self-styled modern craft rustic, Syn Boutique Hotel also has its in house restaurant, Savour, which takes their sensibilities and aesthetics to the next level. Serving Thai cuisine, but with a few twists and turns, local, organic produce are cooked to a Thai palate, but with European techniques and presentation.

Try the signature black ink pasta tom yum gung, daily-made pasta is served with rich tom yum gung sauce, perfectly coating the fresh pasta and topped with delicious river prawns.

The house khao soi chicken is made from high quality Italian semolina and egg yolks, which adds to the classic crunch of the iconic dish, and is as authentic in flavour as any other khao soi in the city.

Meat lovers should definitely not miss out on the grilled rib eye steak with organic vegetables and crab sauce (pu ong). The grass-fed Angus beef, which is fed both green and black olives, is grilled to your preferred perfection, the meat offering up a unique hint of olives. When served medium rare on a tiny little table-side burner, this makes for not just a delicious, but also delightful dining experience. The intriguing crab sauce which accompanies the beef will have you asking for more.

A lighter bite is the grilled prawn salad, served with seasonal salsa and topped with bright burst-in-your-mouth caviar.

End the meal with a classic Thai dessert – banana in coconut milk pudding. This timeless dish is cleverly served with crispy banana crumble and pandan gel, elevating the ubiquitous dish to something very special.

Once you are satiated, head on to the South Beach Bar for some seriously fabulous cocktails by the pool or stroll around the in-house art gallery which changes up every three months.
