CityNews – The Department of Highways recommends routes from Bangkok to the north during the Songkran Festival.
For the upcoming Songkran Festival, the Department of Highway has recommended routes for all travellers heading out of Bangkok during April 11th to 18th which include following:
Bangkok – Rangsit (Highway 1 Phahon Yothin Road) – Ayutthaya – Angthong – Sing Buri (Highway 32 Asian Highway) – Manorom District (Highway 1 Phahon Yothin Road) to Nakorn Sawan.
Bangkok – Nonthaburi (Highway 340 Bang Bua Thong-Suphan Buri) – Supha Buri (Highway 340 Suphan-Chai Nat) – Chai Nat (Highway 1 Phahon Yothin Road) to Nakorn Sawan
Bangkok – Rangsit – Wang Noi District – Saraburi – Lopburi (Highway 1 Phahon Yothin Road) – Tak Fa (Highway 11) to Phitsanulok
Bangkok – Rangsit – Khlong Luang Junction (Highway 1 Phahon Yothin Road) – Chiang Rak Noi (Highway 3214) – Highway 347 – Highway 32 and to the northern region
Bangkok – Highway 9 – CU Interchange – Wan Noi District ( Highway 1 Phahon Yothin Road) – Rojana (Highway 309) – Highway 32 to the northern region
