CityNews – Governor of Lamphun Weerachai Phupiengjai, invites everyone to visit the extraordinarily beautiful Koh Luang Waterfall in Lamphun, a good three hour’s drive from Chiang Mai city.
The drive is well worth it and the Mae Ping National Park, where the waterfall is found, is a lovely park with fabulous views as well as national park accommodation should anyone wish to stay over.
There is a lovely blue lagoon to swim in, the cascading falls are fun to frolic in and the national park service staff provide 24 hour security as well as information on bird watching or other nature activities.
There is the regular charge for entering the national park.
